How It All Began

It was the middle of COVID. Adam was living back home in Florida, but still held onto his West Village apartment. Billie just moved into NYC.

Adam's friends convinced him to return to the Big Apple for a few weeks to try this new thing called "outdoor dining". Adam had sworn off dating apps, but enough relentless haggling from his friends forced him to give it one last go...

On October 21, 2020, Billie's profile popped up and caught Adam's eye - so he swiped right, of course adding "Go Blue" after seeing Billie had graduated from Ohio State.

At first, Billie almost ignored him simply because of the Michigan comment. However, she viewed his profile and thought he was pretty cute. She replied and they spoke all week until their first date on October 27th.

They sat outdoors on a cold fall day at Aunt Jake's in Greenwich Village, sharing a bottle of wine and some pasta (with the finest New York City rats scurrying around their feet). They closed the restaurant down after chatting for hours.

After the first date, Billie and Adam were inseparable and the rest was history. It was love at first sight!
